These Terms are a general, plain-language agreement provided for clarity — they are not legal advice. If anything here is unclear, please email our contact form before using the Service.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of FilmYourSite (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

FilmYourSite turns a website URL or a text prompt into a short launch or ad video using AI — planning scenes, writing narration, generating voiceover and optional presenters, capturing your site, and rendering a downloadable video. Features, formats, and limits may change over time.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent where you live) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, for the security of your login, and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Your content and rights

You retain ownership of the content you submit and the videos you generate. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display that content and the inputs you provide — including via our AI subprocessors — solely to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, to generate, store, and render your video).

You are responsible for the URLs and material you submit. You represent that you own, or have the necessary rights and permissions to use, any website, brand assets, screenshots, photos (including any presenter photo you upload), text, or other material you provide, and that generating a video from it does not infringe any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Film, scrape, or reproduce websites or content you do not own or have permission to use.
• Create infringing, deceptive, defamatory, unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit material.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Upload a photo of a person to the presenter feature without that person’s consent.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the Service, its limits, or its security.
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted by your plan.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Plans, billing, and refunds

Free preview. Anyone can paste a URL and get a free preview — a scraped brand kit, the full scene-by-scene plan, the narration script, and watermarked preview stills — with no account and no card. The preview is the only free part of the service; there is no free usage tier. Generating, rendering, exporting, or downloading a finished video requires a paid plan.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled, and unlock generating and exporting your videos. Each plan includes a set number of video generations per billing period, as shown on our Pricing page. A “generation” is one full video (scrape/capture + plan + narration + render). Scene edits within an existing project do not consume a generation, subject to the limits shown in-app. An account without an active paid plan (before subscribing, or after cancellation) is limited to the free preview only.

Failed generations are not charged. You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.

7-day money-back guarantee. Not happy? Ask for a full refund within 7 days of your initial paid purchase and we’ll refund it in full, no questions asked — just send us a message through our contact form (it reaches a monitored inbox; we do not receive mail at any other address). The guarantee covers your first subscription payment on any plan, and the one-time Founding Member lifetime purchase. It applies whether or not you have already generated videos. After 7 days, and for subsequent subscription renewals, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe, and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Supabase, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Amazon Web Services, Stripe, Vercel, and Google. Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms where applicable, and we are not responsible for third-party services outside our control. 7. Our intellectual property

The Service — including its software, components, templates, designs, and the FilmYourSite name and logo — is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you no rights to our marks or software except the limited right to use the Service.

8. AI-generated output

Output is generated automatically by AI and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that requires review. You are responsible for reviewing your videos before publishing or distributing them, and for ensuring they meet your needs and comply with applicable law.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will be accurate or fit for any purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilmYourSite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FilmYourSite from any claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version here with a new “Last updated” date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and FilmYourSite agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania for any dispute, except where applicable law grants you rights that cannot be waived.
